2015: Big Canoe: Peace in the Georgia Mountains

August 02, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

Nine years. For nine years, Bill and Sandy have graciously welcomed me into four different homes, planned wonderful side trips and photo ops, laughed with me, told me tons of "true stories", cooked with and for me, and made me part of their family. I am one lucky girl.

This year, they have moved to the mountains. Big Canoe is gorgeous and peaceful and hilly and has great roads for driving. It's also close to a real gem, Gibbs Gardens, as well as lots of cool back roads filled with rusty cars and produce stands. It was a great trip. Stay tuned for year 10! Thanks, Bill and Sandy!
